Health Care CIO Panel Hosted by Tech Alpharetta

Ecycle Atlanta had the privilege of being one of the sponsors at the Healthcare CIO Panel hosted by Tech Alpharetta on January 31, 2019.

The event was held at Gwinnett Tech’s Alpharetta-North Fulton Campus for the purpose of discussing “Opportunities and Challenges in Healthcare Innovation.”

Robert Hendricks, President/CIO at Integra Connect, Edwina Payne, Sr. Vice President and CIO at Avanos Medical, and Stewart Weaver, CIO/CTO with Georgia Department of Public Health served as the panelists.

As such, each member on the panel provided a unique perspective relating to IT and healthcare. Not only did they offer insight into recent innovations, but also provided excellent feedback on areas in need of improvement.

Moderator Will ElLaissi, Director at Emory Healthcare Innovation Hub, kept the conversations on track and on topic. He also provided time for members of the audience to pose questions to the panel.

Judging from the high turnout, as well as the audience interaction, it is safe to say that the topic for discussion was both timely and appropriate.

We would like to give a special thanks to Karen Cashion, CEO and Dale Sizemore, Director of Operations at Tech Alpharetta, for giving us the opportunity to help sponsor the event.
